RIVERDALE, Weber County — The Utah Department of Transportation is holding an open house Thursday to discuss impacts from a project next year to reconstruct and widen Riverdale Road.

The open house is set for 6:30 until 8 p.m. at the Riverdale Senior Center, 4433 South 900 West. A workshop for business owners along Riverdale Road will be held from 5 until 6 p.m. at the same location.

UDOT estimates Riverdale Roads carries an average of 47,000 vehicles each day. It connects four cities — Roy, Riverdale, South Ogden and Ogden.

Construction is planned to begin next spring. For more information, go to: www.udot.utah.gov/riverdale, or call: 1-877-773-2009.
