Tech-savvy travelers will soon have a new option for lodging near the Salt Lake City International Airport.
Cambria Suites has announced it will open a 129-suite hotel south of the airport at 263 Charles Lindbergh Drive. Each guest room will feature two flat-screen LCD televisions, a CD/DVD player and MP3 jacks, and the entire hotel will include free wired and wireless Internet, according to franchiser Choice Hotels.
A large-screen TV will anchor the hotel's two-story lobby, which will also include a dining area with a full-service barista bar and breakfast and lunch service. The hotel will also have a fitness center with indoor pool and spa and a 24-hour convenience store.
The hotel will be owned and operated by local developer Wydredge LLC. In a news release announcing the new property.
"This Cambria Suites hotel will combine elements of style and function for people who want to take their lifestyle with them when they travel," Eldredge said.
Choice Hotels franchises more than 5,500 hotels under the brands Comfort Inn, Comfort Suites, Quality, Sleep Inn, Clarion, Cambria Suites, MainStay Suites, Suburban Extended Stay Hotel, Econo Lodge and Rodeway Inn.
The Salt Lake Cambria Suites hotel isn't expected to open for at least another year.
