Enterprise (7-4, 3-1) vs. Rich (7-3, 4-0)

1A State Tournament semifinal game

Saturday, 2 p.m. at Woods Cross High School

Parry's Power Guide: Rich by 9

All-time series: Rich leads 6-1.

Last meeting: 2007 regular season, Rich won 19-8.

They say defense wins championship, and the Rich Rebels hope that mantra rings true for two more weeks.

Heading into this semifinal match-up against Enterprise, Rich is on a seven-game winning streak, including three shutouts. One of those shutouts was against Parowan in a 6-0 shutout win last week.

Defense will be the key once again in the semifinals. Both teams are averaging under 20 points a game, and neither figures to light up the scoreboard at Woods Cross either.

This Saturday's game is a rematch of a regular season game in late September, which Rich won 19-8. Since that loss, Enterprise has won three of four, and the Wolves hope that trend continues this weekend.
