MetroBridge Networks International Inc., based in Vancouver, British Columbia, has announced a letter of intent to acquire Utah Broadband LLC, based in Salt Lake City, for $5.4 million.
Utah Broadband has broadband wireless operations in six counties and about 3,000 customers. It has annual revenues of more than $2.2 million. MetroBridge also delivers broadband wireless access.
The transaction involves $4 million in cash and $1.4 million in MetroBridge shares. It is expected to close in early 2008.
