Harpring listed at 'game-time decision' for Jazz opener
Jazz also release free-agent center Kevin Lyde on Monday
Backup small forward Matt Harpring is being called a "game-time decision" for the Utah Jazz's 2007-08 season opener at Golden State.
Harpring missed all seven of Utah's preseason games while rehabbing his surgically-repaired right knee.
If he is able to play, though, it is uncertain how many minutes he would see in relief of starting forward Andrei Kirilenko.
Tuesday's opener is the first of two meetings between Utah and Golden State this week. The Warriors, who were eliminated by the Jazz in the second round of last year's playoffs, also visit EnergySolutions Arena on Saturday night.
The Jazz face Houston, who they eliminated in the first round of last year's postseason, in their home opener Thursday night.
Also on Monday, the Jazz released free-agent center Kevin Lyde, reducing their roster count to 14.
