A peace rally will take place from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday on Washington Square (400 S. State) in Salt Lake City.<
The rally is one of 11 taking place across the country in different cities on the same day. The group United for Peace and Justice organized the rally.
Mayor Rocky Anderson will be among the speakers.
An exhibit titled "Eyes Wide Open" will also be on display from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The exhibit is made up of combat boots and shoes displayed to represent U.S. troops and Iraqi civilians killed during the Iraq war.
