Greg Gajewiak and Erik DeWaal have joined Forthgear, a marketing strategic company based in Kaysville. The two graphic designers bring over 10 years of combined experience in print design. Gajewiak, a native of Poland, had five years of experience at a European advertising agency before immigrating to the U.S. two years ago. DeWaal graduated from the University of Utah and worked as the art director for a company and operated his own letterpress before joining Forthgear.

Greg Ratliff, a senior associate and multifamily investment specialist with NAI Utah Commercial Real Estate, has been named the new "player-coach" of the company's office in Lindon. As player-coach, Ratliff will supervise and mentor agents, motivating them to higher production while maintaining personal involvement in his own real estate deals. Ratliff will be moving from the company's headquarters in Salt Lake. His experience includes working on project feasibility, renovation, construction management and brokerage projects.

Thomas Van Wyngarden has joined the law firm Chapman and Cutler LLP as a partner. He will join Chapman's environmental and litigation practices focused in the Salt Lake City and San Francisco offices. He previously was a partner in a different firm's Los Angeles office. He has represented many large companies in commercial, real estate, and product liability matters.

Jason Roberts has been promoted to director at Protiviti Inc., a business and technology risk consulting and internal audit services company. He previously was an associate director. Roberts has been with Protiviti since its inception in 2002. He leads the company's Salt Lake City office. He has more than 11 years of experience in public accounting, business consulting and internal auditing. His education includes a degree from Brigham Young University.
