• Brian Logie, Linda Smith and Heather Barlow have joined Big-D Construction. Logie was hired as a project engineer in the company's Lindon office. He has four years of construction experience through several positions held with companies in Arizona. His education includes a degree from Brigham Young University. Smith joins Big-D as project assistant in the Lindon office. Smith brings more than 20 years of experience in the construction industry, serving as an executive assistant, office manager and secretary for several companies in the Utah area. Barlow is marketing assistant in the Fastrack division of the Salt Lake City office. Prior to joining Big-D, Barlow worked as a graphic designer. She has a degree from Eagle Gate College.

• Dan Herzog has joined the Office Division of the Salt Lake City office of CB Richard Ellis. The office specializes in the leasing, acquisition and disposition of office properties. Prior to joining CB Richard Ellis, Herzog worked for a commercial real estate company. He has been involved in the marketing and sales industry for more than nine years and in the real estate industry for more than four of those years.

• Sharon Cook has joined Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage as director of marketing. A graduate of Westminster College, Cook previously was director of brand strategy for another company, where she supported marketing efforts for 11 years. She has 21 years of experience in marketing, branding, communications and public relations.

• Dr. Joanne Link , a neurologist, has joined Utah Valley Regional Medical Center. She previously was on the faculty of the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. She will focus primarily on hospitalized patients with serious neurological conditions, including stroke.

• Christopher B. Snow has been named a director and shareholder at the law firm of Clyde Snow. He joined the firm in 2003 after practicing at a Washington, D.C., law firm. He has experience representing and counseling clients on employee-driven litigation in areas of wrongful termination, reduction in work force, civil rights, the Fair Labor Standards Act, Family the Medical Leave Act, OSHA violations and wrongful discharge. His experience also encompasses enforcing non-compete contracts as well as bringing and defending claims for trade secret misappropriations and trademark infringement. His education includes degrees from the University of Utah.
