LOGAN A man died Wednesday about 9 a.m. after he was hit by a truck at the intersection of 400 North and 600 East.
Guy Albert Johnson, 41, Logan, was headed north in a crosswalk when he was hit, said Logan Police Capt. Eric Collins. Police believe the opposing traffic light may have turned green before he finished crossing.
The truck was driven by Mark Robert Elliott, 18, Logan. A 14-year-old passenger was in the truck with him.
Four other vehicles had stopped and were waiting for Johnson to finish crossing when the fatal crash occurred. The cars may have impeded Elliott's vision, police said.
Logan police, Utah State University police and the Utah Highway Patrol are investigating the incident.
