• Thanksgiving Point is offering a basic landscape design class Nov. 6, 13 and 20, 10 a.m.-12:30 p.m. The class includes an individual consultation on your landscape plan by a USU Extension Service master gardener. • Wasatch Community Gardens is holding a compost cake workshop, Nov. 3, 10-11:30 a.m., at the Grateful Tomato Garden, 600 E. 800 South. Seating is limited. To reserve a spot, call 359-2658. A $5 donation is suggested.

• Red Butte Garden is holding two fall garden maintenance classes this Saturday and Nov. 3, from 10 a.m.-noon. The class is $48 for members and $52 for nonmembers and is limited to 12 participants. Register at 587-5433 or 581-6464.
