Westminster College has received a $924,000 grant to help underrepresented students pursue graduate degrees.
The four-year grant from the U.S. Department of Education extends the only McNair Scholars program in Utah. The graduate school preparation program focuses on low-income, first generation college students and those who are members of a minority group that is underrepresented in graduate education, with the goal of increasing faculty diversity in colleges and universities.
