The Jazz on Monday released free agent forwards Damone Brown and Donnell Harvey, reducing their roster size to the NBA limit of 15.
Still with the team: center Kevin Lyde, a Temple University product who has spent most of his career with the NBA's Development League and has never appeared in a regular season NBA game.
Lyde will accompany the team to California for its two preseason games against the Los Angeles Lakers on Tuesday in Anaheim and Thursday in San Diego.
The Jazz have not yet said whether they'll carry 14 or 15 players to open the regular season, which begins Oct. 30 at Golden State.
