PARK CITY — A fire at the Stein Eriksen Lodge at the Deer Valley Ski Resort prompted the evacuation of one wing of the posh hotel.
Lodge officials said the fire started about 5 a.m. Sunday in a first-floor room. Fire sprinklers were activated, and guests were evacuated from 16 rooms on the first and second floors. No one was injured.
The fire was contained to one room, and its cause remains under investigation, the resort said.
