Tax credits considered for funding incentives

Rep. Sheryl Allen, R-Bountiful, wondered if the tax credits would reduce revenues for the education fund. Perry said he was unsure but an impact analysis is under way because the issue needs to be addressed at the upcoming general session.
"This is the first year of payouts for this, so it's the first time we've encountered the problem," Perry said.
Perry asked if any lawmakers had concerns about the tax credit option. "I think that all depends on impacts," Allen said. "That's the biggie. ... We're all anxious to hear what the analysis is."
"We'll give you all of it," Perry said. "It's the No. 1 thing we're working on.
