Salt Lake City is holding an open house Thursday for residents and business owners to discuss a possible route change for the airport TRAX line.
The meeting will be at 7 p.m. in the Utah State Fairpark Bonneville Building, 155 N. 1000 West. Residents are also invited to send comments to airportlightrail@skgov.com.
At present, the airport TRAX line is planned to run north down 400 West from the Stadium Station. The line will then turn west at North Temple. The Utah Transit Authority wants to run the line down 600 West and have the TRAX route connect with its intermodal hub before heading west down North Temple.
The Salt Lake City Planning Commission is expected to make a decision this month about whether the TRAX route should be moved from 400 West to 600 West.
