Today is the final day for collecting shoes for the "Passage to Zarahemla" Shoe Drive, co-sponsored by Heimerdinger Entertainment, Seagull Book Stores, the Hearts and Hands for Humanity group, and the Nathan Barnes Project.
Shoes will be donated for those in need in Iraq, where Barnes, a soldier from American Fork, was killed in July. Spokesman for the drive is Chris Heimerdinger, author of the "Tennis Shoes" series of books. Donated shoes may be left at any Seagull Book store.
