KANAB The Kane County Sheriff's Office and the Utah Department of Public Safety issued an endangered person advisory Wednesday afternoon for 3-year-old Kamberlie Binks, last seen at the Bullfrog Lake Powell Marina.
The girl is presumed drowned, and officials continued to search for her body Wednesday, said Kane County Sheriff's spokesman Tracy Glover.
The advisory was issued as a precaution, Glover said. By Wednesday afternoon, the water search had turned up no new leads and police were hoping for any helpful tidbits that could lead them to the girl.
The South Jordan toddler vanished Monday when her parents turned away for a moment, police said. She had been on a houseboat with her parents and her 4-year-old brother.
Anyone with information about Kamberlie's disappearance is asked to call the Kane County Sheriff's Office at 435-644-2349.
