Gov. Jon Huntsman Jr. enjoys a light moment at the signing of a resolution marking the Columbus Day holiday in Utah. With him are Michael Homer, left, chairman, counsel to consul, and Giovanni Maschero, Italian vice consul. In signing the resolution recognizing Italian Day, Huntsman remarked that it would have been "a great thing" if the resolution, drafted before Monday's Nobel Prize announcement, had mentioned University of Utah scientist Mario Capecchi, who shares the prize for medicine.
