Meet Clearfield hopefuls during Wednesday event

CLEARFIELD — The Clearfield City Youth Council will present a Meet the Candidates Night Wednesday, 7 p.m., in the council chambers, Clearfield Municipal building, 55 S. State.

Candidates will have an opportunity to introduce themselves and briefly present their basic campaign platforms. Candidates will then have a chance to respond to questions organizers have chosen from the audience. Each candidate response will be subject to a time limit.

Clearfield has two candidates running for mayor and another six competing for three open city council seats.
