EMC Corp., based in Massachusetts, has acquired Utah-based Berkeley Data Systems Inc., a privately held provider of online information backup and recovery services.
Financial terms were not disclosed. EMC said the deal will not have a material impact on EMC revenues or earnings per share for 2007.
EMC provides Mozy, an online subscription service for data protection. EMC develops and provides information infrastructure technology and products.
