Utah

BASKETBALL: University of Utah men's basketball season tickets for 2007-08 — the 100th season of Runnin' Ute basketball — are on sale. Season tickets in the upper bowl of the Jon M. Huntsman Center start at $100, while season tickets for the lower bowl can be purchased for as little as $306.Tickets may be ordered online by visiting www.UtahUtes.com, by phone at 801-581-UTIX or in person at the Rice-Eccles Stadium Ticket Office.

Weber State

VOLLEYBALL: The Weber State volleyball team was swept 3-0 Saturday by Sacramento State. The Hornets picked up the win 30-24, 30-22, and 30-19, their eighth straight win over the Wildcats. The Wildcats drop to 5-8 overall and 2-2 in conference.

Utah Valley

SOCCER: At Farmville, Va., Utah Valley got its second win in three East Coast matches, a 6-0 rout over South Carolina State. The Wolverines, now 2-6-1 (2-1, United Soccer Conference), got six goals from six different players. UV will return home to play in-state opponent Utah on Wednesday. Kickoff is set for 4 p.m.

Snow

FOOTBALL: The Snow College football team and defended its national No. 1 ranking Saturday, defeating Mesa College 48-17. The win moved the Badgers to 5-0 overall and 2-0 in the Western States Football League. The loss was No. 12 Mesa's first of the year.

Dixie

FOOTBALL: The Dixie State Rebels suffered a 30-22 triple-overtime loss Saturday to Humboldt State. Dixie State led most of the game but gave up three second-half touchdowns and two, 2-point conversions to force overtime. In the third overtime, the Lumberjacks scored quickly and added their third two-point conversion to make it 30-22. Two plays later, Skyler Ence's end zone pass was intercepted, ending the game.

Westminster

SOCCER: The Westminster Griffins dropped a 5-3 decision with Mesa State (Colo.) on Sunday in Grand Junction. The loss drops the Griffins to 8-4 on the season. Westminster is back on the pitch Friday, when the Griffins travel to Lakewood, Colo., to take on Colorado Christian.
