Timeline of Daggett County Jail escape
• Monday, Sept. 24: Searchers in vehicles, on foot and in the air hunt for the two escapees, concentrating on Daggett and Uintah counties, Uinta Mountain cabins and along U.S. 191.
• Wednesday, Sept. 26: The Utah Department of Corrections announces it will review its procedures and contracts with 20 county jails to house inmates.
• Friday, Sept. 28: A Vernal man who said earlier in the week that he had seen the murderers, diverting search teams, admits he lied.
• Saturday, Sept. 29: Diaz-Aravelo and Gallegos are captured near Rock Springs.
