SOCCER: The University of Utah soccer team remained unbeaten in its last six games Friday in Malibu, Calif. The Utes got two goals from junior forward Adele Letro and played Pepperdine to a 2-2, double-overtime tie. The Utes are 5-2-2 on the year and Pepperdine is 1-4-3. Utah plays its final home non-conference game Sunday, when the Utes host Boise State at Ute Field. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m.
VOLLEYBALL: The Utah volleyball team won its third-straight match of the season with a 3-0 sweep of Air Force on Friday. Kathryn Haynie led Utah with 11 kills, a service ace and five digs. Utah play at Wyoming tonight.
BYU
CROSS COUNTRY: In the first of three projected meets in Indiana, the No. 20 BYU men's cross country team finished in seventh-place at the star-studded Notre Dame Invitational on Friday. The meet featured six ranked teams with host No. 12 Notre Dame taking the victory. Twenty-three teams competed. The Cougars were led by senior Chandler Goodwin, who finished the five-mile course in 24:14, good for 13th place.
VOLLEYBALL: The No. 23 BYU women's volleyball team recorded its first sweep of Mountain West Conference play Friday with a 30-28, 31-29, 30-21 win at Wyoming to improve to 9-4 overall and 2-2 in league action. Senior rightside Erica Lott led BYU with 13 kills. Chelsea Goodman had 12 kills and Rachel Dyer 11. BYU plays tonight at Air Force.
Snow
FOOTBALL: Just days after being vaulted to the No. 1 spot in the NJCAA football poll, Snow College will have to prove its ranking on the road against one of the hottest teams in the country No. 12 Mesa Community College. The two teams will battle it out tonight in Mesa, Ariz. The winner will take a big step forward in the race for the Western States Football League title. The game can be heard live at 8 p.m. MDT over the internet on www.snowbadgers.com.

VOLLEYBALL: Talita Santos registered 10 killss to lead the No. 2 Salt Lake Community College Bruins over No. 10 College of Southern Idaho Eagles Thursday night in conference play. The Bruins took out the Eagles in three games, 30-28, 30-14 and 30-28, extending the team's win streak to 17 matches. Salt Lake (31-1, 2-0 SWAC) will play North Idaho College Cardinals today at noon.
