Stage auditions

• SCERA Center, 745 S. State, Orem, on Thursday, 7-9 p.m., in Room B3 for "Plaid Tidings," the holiday version of "Forever Plaid," playing Dec. 14-22.

Robinne Booth is directing. There are roles for men, 20 and older. Come prepared to sing 16 measures of an upbeat, '50s harmony song. An accompanist and boom box will be provided.

This production also requires 6-8 female dancers, 18 and up. Dance auditions will be 9-10 p.m. Come prepared to perform a short, Broadway-style dance segment (225-3787, www.scera.org).

• Art City Playhouse, 245 S. Main, Springville, on Oct. 9 and 10, 7 p.m., for "A Wonderful Life," directed by Adam Cannon, a musical version of the movie "It's a Wonderful Life."

Needed are 15 men, 20-60 years old; 10 women, 19-60; and three children — two girls and one boy, 6-12 years old. Most roles require singing and strong acting. Come prepared with 32 measures of a musical-theater tune. An accompanist and CD player will be provided.
