"Oftentimes, it is being in the right place at the right time, in addition to having a keen sense of design, color and, in my opinion, above-average photography."
She has an entire room dedicated to scrapbooking and creativity. It's stocked with interesting kinds of paper, embellishments, beads and letters. She has a die-cut machine and pieces of colored foam and ribbon and scissors that cut different kinds of edges.
"I've got my room. Without that I wouldn't be able to do this," she said. "I go out at least once a month to a scrapbook store. That's rejuvenating."
She considers herself one of the world's slowest scrapbookers because it takes her an average of four to five hours to do a single page.
Her ideas come at all hours of the day and night, so she keeps a notepad by the bed so she can sketch something out when she awakes.
"Sometimes I'll look at something I've done and say, 'Wow! that's really good! It's satisfying when that happens."
