It was my great privilege and pleasure to be at Abravanel Hall on Sept. 18 for the magnificent Dave Brubeck concert. Kudos to Rebecca Cline Howard for her well-crafted review. For those who missed either the concert or Rebecca's fitting review, may I repeat her conclusion: "It was an honor to hear this man in person — an incredibly creative mind with impeccable good taste and a deft sense of humor, writing music that appeals to the mind, heart and soul. Never mind the age of his body; Brubeck's intelligence, humor and artistry are ageless."
