Offense

The Aggies had no business being in the game after a 94-yard first half. They managed to take the lead with six minutes left in the game but couldn't come up with a first down late in the game that would have iced it.

GRADE D+

Defense

The Aggies allowed 524 yards to the third-worst offensive team in the nation and 83 yards on six plays in the final minutes, allowing SJSU the game-winning score.

GRADE F

Special teams

Special teams kept the Aggies in the game with two field goals, 402 return yards and a touchdown, but when they had to field the kickoff at the end, they couldn't.

GRADE C-

Overall

One more play here or there by the offense, defense or special teams would have resulted in a win, but no one stepped up — again.
