In a nutshell: Dan Morgan, a fictional Arizona attorney known for his questionable tactics and ethics, tries a case with the help of Doug McKenzie, a new, naive young lawyer, who narrates the story. The plot, based on the author's knowledge of legendary attorney John J. Flynn is promising, but the author's writing style is pedestrian, filled with obscenities; an inexplicable anti-Mormon thread is filled with legalisms and goes on forever.
