Utah Hispanic Chamber names executive director

Patricia Quijano Dark has been named the new executive director of the Utah Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.

Her duties will include corporate fund-raising, event management and development, member services and managing the strategic growth of the chamber.

Dark has served as the editor for the city's weekly Spanish-language newspaper, Mundo Hispano, and most recently was one of the six founding board members of the Dual Immersion Academy, which opened in August.
