Am I supposed to feel sorry for Maricela Naranjo ("Seeking a better life," Sept. 16)? She knowingly came into the United States illegally and bought someone else's identity. She is upset that she is separated from her family, but yet she knew the risks. If she really wanted "a better life," she should have done it the way that millions of others have done to become a naturalized citizen. She made a choice and should live with the consequences.
