Guests at the Park City Mountain Resort will see improved amenities indoor and outside.

The resort has invested nearly $5 million in improvements, according to a news release. They include a new heated resort plaza, expanded terrain, a redesigned trail map, and Fast Track lanes for the King Con lift.

Environmental initiatives are also a focus, with a new boiler system that is 98 percent more efficient, tree planting to offset carbon emissions, and a lighting retrofit system that will utilize compact fluorescent lights.

A new run called Georgeanna off McConkey's lift will bring the resort's total run count to 106.
