Utah State

GOLF: Utah State's Devin Daniels tied for 51st place at the Gene Miranda Falcon Invitational, finishing the 56-hole tournament with a 9-over-par 225. As a team, Utah State finished in 18th-place with a score of 919.

TENNIS: Utah State competed at the Boise State Open in Boise, Idaho, over the weekend with freshman Jakob Asplund posting a 1-1 record in singles action and a 1-1 mark in doubles. The Aggies will compete next weekend at the Brigham Young Invitational in Provo beginning Thursday.

Weber State

SOCCER: After sweeping two matches in El Paso, Texas, to claim the UTEP Miner Classic title, the Wildcats will face a pair of Western Athletic Conference opponents to begin the 2007 home schedule.

This week, the Wildcats will open up with Utah State (1-3-0) on Wednesday and then will face Boise State (2-2-0) on Friday. Both matches are scheduled to kick off at 3 p.m.

In El Paso, the Wildcats shut out North Florida 1-0 before defeating the host Miners 2-1. Natalie Blaylock scored the game-winner against the Osprey, while Whitney Smith and Kelsie Ehlers tallied against UTEP, with Ehlers netting the game-winner.
