MARION, Summit County A California man died Sunday after his sport-utility vehicle rolled several times on state Route 32 near 1698 North.
The rollover occurred after the SUV went off the road to the right, the man overcorrected and the vehicle headed back off the road, according to Utah Highway Patrol Sgt. Jeff Nigbur.
The man, 19, sustained head and neck injuries. He was taken to University Hospital in Salt Lake City where he died. He was the SUV's only occupant.
Investigators believe excessive speed may have been involved, Nigbur said.
The man, identified as Jose Santos-Tligeo Moreno, has no family in the area, Nigbur said. Authorities have not determined why he was driving in Utah.
