PROVO Habitat for Humanity of Utah County will observe the International Day of Prayer and Action for Human Habitat with a prayer service and call for action Sunday at the Seventh-Day Adventist Church, 255 S. 700 East.
The hourlong service will begin at 6:30 p.m. Pastor Dean Jackson of the Rock Canyon Church will address the congregation with the Utah Valley Mass Choir providing the music. All interested community members are invited to attend. Refreshments will be served.
The International Day of Prayer and Action for Human Habitat, observed on the third Sunday in September, is a time when the entire Habitat for Humanity community is urged to come together in prayer for those in need of shelter.
