TOOELE Fire restrictions are being lifted on federal, state and unincorporated lands across the state today.
The Bureau of Land Management said it is lifting the restrictions that are still in place along lands west of I-15 in Tooele, Utah and Box Elder counties. An area along the Colorado River in eastern Utah also has had its restrictions lifted.
"Recent rain and cooler temperatures have reduced the fire danger, but the grasses and finer fuels are still a concern," said the BLM's Jeff Kline in a statement.
"Along with this rescind of fire restrictions, we want to remind folks to use caution with outdoor activities."
