Luz Robles, director of the Office of Ethnic Affairs, has been hired as director of Zions Bank's Business Resource Center.
A phone call to the Department of Community and Culture, which oversees the Ethnic Office, wasn't returned.
Robles has experience in developing private and public partnerships, coordinating an array of programs and services to diverse ethnic groups, and accessing a variety of networks to maintain relationships and gain awareness in the community, according to a Zions Bank news release.
Zions Bank's Business Resource Center was launched in January 2006 as a free service to help start and grow local business.
