The Jordan Valley Water Conservancy District will host the Garden Fair today from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Conservation Garden Park in West Jordan, 8215 S. 1300 West. Admission is free.
The fair will focus on water conservancy and how to implement water-wise gardening techniques and ideas for enhancing home landscaping.
Food and drinks will also be available from Cancun Cafe. A balloon clown will be there to entertain children.

I found that out last week. In search of a Memorial Day column, I wandered into Memory Grove (who said columnists can't grasp the obvious?) and as I walked by the various war monuments, I came upon the best-looking structure there: the Meditation Chapel, which might have been transplanted straight from Athens.
