Safety not district priority

I think it is great the Salt Lake City School District is "trying something new" with the kindergarten through eighth-grade classes. However, I think it is very sad that the district can spend $3.64 million for additions to Nibley Park Elementary, while approximately 109 schools in the Jordan, Granite and Davis school districts do not even have air conditioning.

Sadly, priorities in other districts do not include health, comfort and the safety of children and teachers during the summer months.
