VIEWMONT DEF. CLEARFIELD 26-24, 25-18, 18-25, 25-20: The Vikings were led to their first region win by Ada Robinson, who finished with 14 kills and 16 digs, while Fiona Jones added 11 kills and 21 digs and Britney Mortensen earned 11 kills and eight digs.
LAYTON DEF. DAVIS 25-16, 14-25, 25-20, 25-22: Shaley Stevens had 36 digs and 14 kills, while Carley Nelson had 37 assists and Kathryn Lecheminant had 13 kills as the Lancers earned a Region 1 victory over the Darts. Alli Blake had 11 kills and Kelsey Campbell added eight for the Davis.
WEBER DEF. SYRACUSE 25-20, 25-21, 23-25, 25-16: Jayde Johnston had 10 kills and six blocks, Shay Sorensen added fifteen kills and Katie Wahlen had 25 assists to lead Weber over Syracuse.
REGION 6
COTTONWOOD DEF. EAST 25-13, 25-10, 25-13: Racheal Altland had eight kills and Malia Nanutai had six aces as Cottonwood swept East.
MURRAY DEF. CYPRUS 25-10, 25-13, 25-18: Prasella Matemate had 13 kills and 10 digs, Micah Neiman had eight kills and six aces and Jaymie Nava had six kills and thirteen digs to lead Murray over Cyprus in three straight.
HIGHLAND DEF. OLYMPUS 25-16, 25-23, 25-17: The Rams earned their first win of the year in a sweep over the Titans, with Mel White getting 11 kills for Highland.
REGION 12
NORTH SEVIER DEF. GUNNISON 25-12, 25-13, 25-21: The Wolves earned their first Region 12 win with the sweep.
RICHFIELD DEF. SOUTH SEVIER 25-20, 13-25, 26-24, 25-14: Richfield bounced back from a loss in the second game take three out of four from South Sevier.
REGION 16
RICH DEF. TABIONA 25-8, 25-6, 25-5: The Rebels swept the Tigers in a Region 16 match.
ALTAMONT DEF. MANILA 25-23, 25-15, 25-19: Kali Hughes had nine assists and six blocks and Alle Muir added thirteen blocks and six kills to lead Altamont over Manila.
REGION 17
CHRISTIAN HERITAGE DEF. MOUNT VERNON 25-10, 25-8, 25-8: The Crusaders swept the Patriots in three to go to 2-0 in region 17.
ST. JOSEPH DEF. OAKLEY 25-8, 25-3, 25-10: Katie Wiechmann had 16 kills, Nikki Laure had fifteen assists and Michelle Chambers had ten service aces to lead St. Joseph over Oakley.
