ROOSEVELT The FBI is saying very little about its investigation into the deaths of two brothers on the Uintah-Ouray Indian Reservation.
The body of Pablo Serawop, 28, was found Friday near the Elkhorn Loop area of Duchesne County. The body of Gaylon Elias Serawop Jr., 19, was found Sunday south of the reservation community of Whiterocks.
It is unclear whether an organized search was under way for the men at the time their bodies were discovered.
The FBI is not releasing any information about the men or what they suspect caused their deaths; however, a source who saw the bodies said that Pablo Serawop had been badly beaten and Gaylon Serawop died of what appeared to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Autopsies were performed on both men by the State Medical Examiner's Office.
Authorities have impounded two vehicles one Friday, the other Sunday believed to have been used by the Serawops.
A joint memorial service for the brothers will be held today in Randlett.
