FAIRVIEW, Sanpete County The Utah Highway Patrol said it is still investigating the cause of a fiery crash that killed three people on U.S. 89 Monday.
Troopers said they were looking at a number of possible causes for the wreck, but none had panned out yet.
"The cause of this crash could be any number of things. It could be drowsy driving, distracted (driving), it could have been alcohol, who knows what it could have been," said UHP trooper Jeff Nigbur.
The UHP said blood had been taken from the bodies of the three people killed in the crash.
Troopers have said that a pick-up being driven by Alec Bell, 34, crossed the center line on U.S. 89, slamming into a truck carrying Etikeni Samani, 22, and his wife, Trichelle, 21.
