CEDAR BREAKS NATIONAL MONUMENT The third and final Star Party of the season will be held at Point Supreme overlook on Saturday, 8:30 p.m.
There will be several large telescopes available, and visitors who own their own telescopes are invited to bring them along.
To celebrate the changing colors of fall, the National Park Service will host a screening of the musical "Can't Help Singing" at Cedar Breaks National Monument on Saturday, Sept. 22. This 1944 Technicolor movie was filmed in part at Cedar Breaks. The film will begin at 7:30 p.m. in the visitor center and is 1 1/2 hours in length. Park entrance fees will be waived starting at 7 p.m. for those attending the movie.
Visitors are encouraged to dress warmly, as nighttime temperatures could be in the mid- to upper 30s.
