1. Bingham (3-0) Class: 5A

Was: 1. Points: 300. Last week: Beat Kahuku, Hawaii, 27-0

Outlook: Utah's best team no doubt caught the eye of the nation with Saturday's win. Next up: at Jordan, Friday.

2. Alta (2-1) Class: 5A

Was: 2. Points: 284. Last week: Beat Clovis East, Calif., 28-12

Outlook: The Hawks made it look easy against one of Northern California's best. Next up: vs. Hunter, Friday.

3. Fremont (3-0) Class: 5A

Was: 4. Points: 272. Last week: Beat Dorsey, Calif., 27-7

Outlook: Moved up a spot after manhandling quality Los Angeles team. Next up: at Layton, Friday.

4. Timpview (3-0) Class: 4A

Was: 3. Points: 252. Last week: Beat Lone Peak, 27-6

Outlook: Defense was same dominant self again last weekend. Next up: vs. Payson, Friday.

5. Cottonwood (3-0) Class: 4A

Was: 8. Points: 237. Last week: Beat Provo, 51-16

Outlook: Jumped three spots after incredible 41-point scoring outburst in second half. Next up: vs. Murray, Friday.

6. Davis (2-1) Class: 5A

Was: 5. Points: 235. Last week: Lost to Highland, Idaho, 32-29

Outlook: Couldn't overcome sluggish start against one of Idaho's best. Next up: at Clearfield, Friday.

7. Jordan (2-1) Class: 5A

Was: 6. Points: 230. Last week: Lost to Valdosta, Ga., 23-21

Outlook: After narrowly losing in Southern Georgia, the 'Diggers face a much taller task back home. Next up: vs. Bingham, Friday.

8. East (2-1) Class: 4A

Was: 11. Points: 209. Last week: Beat American Fork, 24-13

Outlook: Timely interception has Leopards climbing the ladder. Next up: at Highland, Friday.

9. Bountiful (3-0) Class: 4A

Was: 10. Points: 208. Last week Beat Viewmont, 19-17

Outlook: It's nice to have that special team intangible when you need it. Next up: at Bonneville, Friday.

10. Northridge (2-1) Class: 5A

Was: 13. Points: 170. Last week: Beat Mountain Crest, 35-21

Outlook: Outmuscled a 4A team for second straight week. Next up: vs. Weber, Friday.

11. American Fork (2-1) Class: 5A

Was: 7. Points: 169. Last week: Lost to East, 24-13

Outlook: The Cavemen host an Alaska team this week in a very intriguing matchup. Next up: vs. East Anchorage, Alaska, Friday.

12. Pine View (3-0) Class: 4A

Was: 12. Points: 165. Last week: Beat Sh. Ridge, Nev., 55-12

Outlook: The Panthers made an average Nevada team look very, very bad. Next up: at Uintah, Friday.

13. Pleasant Grove (2-1) Class: 5A

Was: 9. Points: 157. Last week: Beat Riverton, 20-13
