Capsules for the NFC East Division
2006 record: 10-6
Outlook: Once again, QB Donovan McNabb is returning after a season-ending injury. He has a new target in ex-Rams WR Kevin Curtis, and RB Brian Westbrook is coming off a career season. Youngsters are being counted on to shore up a so-so D.
Best-case scenario: McNabb stays healthy, and the coaches don't go pass-mad and continue to give Westbrook plenty of work.
Worst-case scenario: McNabb goes down again, without Jeff Garcia to fill the breach, and the NFL's No. 2 offense in '06 fizzles.
Parting shot: McNabb or not, Philly will have to play better defense to repeat as division champion.

DALLAS COWBOYS
2006 record: 9-7
Outlook: The Cowboys haven't won a playoff game since 1996, a drought even Bill Parcells couldn't end. Wade Phillips is in charge now and he inherits an offense buoyed by QB Tony Romo's breakout season and a defense with top-10 potential.
Best-case scenario: Romo and WR Terrell Owens thrive together and massive Leonard Davis bolsters the offensive line.
Worst-case scenario: Romo and RB Julius Jones take a step back and the defense continues to underachieve.
