Jeremy Moore led the Owlz with four RBIs on a 2-for-6 outing. The defense was the key for the Chukars as they had three double plays and played error-free baseball.

At Ogden, the Raptors committed three errors, including two in the fifth inning when the Rockies scored two runs, to hamper their chances of a win at home. Chad Lembeck homered in the fourth inning to give Casper a 2-0 lead. Brandon Miller (2-0) fanned nine Ogden batters in seven innings, while Wilfredo Diaz (2-3) struck out seven batters for the Raptors in four innings.
