MOAB A police chase through Arches National Park has landed a Florida man in jail.
Grand County Sheriff's deputies said the pursuit began Monday night when a National Park Service ranger tried to stop a car for speeding. The driver took off, leading police from several agencies on a chase.
Deputies said the chase ended on state Route 191 when Moab police officers forced the vehicle off the road.
Kevin Tupper, 38, of Bradenton, Fla., was booked into the Grand County Jail on investigation of aggravated assault on a police officer, reckless driving and evading police.
