It's time to mark your calendars for three dates during September for Utah's involvement in the 2007 "International Coastal Cleanup," considered the world's largest volunteer cleanup event.

Dates for cleaning up Utah's inland beaches and waterways will be Sept. 5 at the Legacy Nature Preserve, North Salt Lake; on Sept. 8, there will be a scuba cleanup at Causey Reservoir; and on Sept. 15, projects will take place at Utah Lake's Lindon Marina, the Jordan River at Redwood Trail Park, and Saltair and Willard Bay on the Great Salt Lake (www.cleanup-utah.org).
