Outdoor notes
The Canyons has opened to bike riders the same course used for the Jeep King of the Mountain competition.
The course, used by some of the world's top riders, was closed for the event three weeks ago. The course is a steep run that navigates a series of banked turns, tabletops, step-down jumps and rollers. It has been described as the ultimate format for mountain bike racing and is one of the toughest challenges for bikers.
Slightly modified at the top, the course does not start in the Y-cross formation as it did for the professional racers, but rather is a single-track start. Access the course seven days a week via hiking or biking up the Holly's Downhill trail.
Helmets are required on the course and like all mountain biking at the resort, The Canyons strongly suggests using protective equipment and using extreme caution while attempting this run.
