Cabin raising at This Is the Place Park

The public is invited to watch an old-fashioned cabin raising on Labor Day at This Is the Place Heritage Park.

The authentic cabin was donated in pieces to the park by Emery County.

Beginning at 10 a.m. it will be reconstructed as completely as possible in advance of further restoration at a later date.

The park is open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Labor Day, Sept. 3. Admission is $8 for adults, $6 for children ages 3-11 and seniors. Call 582-1847 or visit www.thisistheplace.org.
