Was: -. Last week: DNP. Outlook: Open the season at home with talented group of returning players.

3. Pleasant Grove (0-0) Class: 5A

Was: -. Last week: DNP. Outlook: Sophomore outside hitter Danika Mendivil should lead group of youngsters to new heights.

4. Cottonwood (7-1) Class: 4A

Was: -. Last week: 7-1. Outlook: The Colts return much of 2006 championship team, including Kaili Aiono, last year's MVP.

5. Dixie (4-1) Class: 4A

Was: -. Last week: 4-1. Outlook: Lost in to Hurricane, but had two players out with injuries. Flyers should add excitement to 4A race.

6. Taylorsville (0-0) Class: 5A

Was: -. Last week: DNP. Outlook: Won't be challenged in a match until September, but should be among the 4A contenders.

Was: -. Last week: DNP. Outlook: The ever-solid Trojans will make another run at returning to that 3A title game.

9. San Juan (0-0) Class: 2A

Was: -. Last week: DNP. Outlook: The Broncos are still the team to beat in 2A with three starters returning.

10. Snow Canyon (0-0) Class: 4A

Was: -. Last week: DNP. Outlook: The Warriors are athletic and looking to take their talents to larger classification.
